The Transforming Auckland: Innovations for Sustainable Cities Thematic Research Initiative (TRI) hosted a very successful Research Symposium. Over two days international and local researchers examined some of the major issues faced by cities in their transformation towards sustainable, resilient futures.
Robert Liberty is the executive director of the Sustainable Cities Initiative at the University of Oregon which seeks solutions to sustainable city challenges by drawing on the University’s expertise in architecture, land use and transportation planning, industrial ecology, law, public administration, economics, geography and new product design.
