L'article montre que ces lieux marchands construisent une urbanité en mouvement qui, loin d'être figée, articule et intègre sans doute autant qu'elle exclut. Les liens sociaux qui en résultent, basés sur des réseaux résidentiels communautaires et affinitaires, sont certes pour une part influencés par le caractère élitiste de ce nouveau morceau de ville, mais échappent également à cette forte qualification du territoire en autorisant en certains lieux une réelle mixité sociale.
